Redeeming an Express coupon code

• Add your desired merchandise to your shopping bag.

• Go to checkout and locate the Bag Summary list.

• Find where it says "Promo codes & discounts" and click the drop-down arrow.

• Type the promo code into the white box, and click the Apply button to see your discount.

Just remember you can't use coupons on clearance items, only rewards.

If your coupon code isn't working, try this:

• Is the coupon still valid? Check to see if there's an expiration date.

• Did you verify that you entered the code using the correct formatting?

• Could the coupon be good for only a specific style of clothes?

• Do you have to meet a minimum spending threshold to redeem the coupon?

The Express Black Friday sale

Express has a big sale called Black Friday. You can buy coats, sweaters, dresses, and jeans at up to 50% off. You should buy them early in the sale because the deals won't last long.

Express end of season sale

Get up to 75% off at the Express End-of-Season sale! The discounts get even better after Black Friday, with 50% off everything. By the end of the year, you can save 60-75% store-wide.

Some of the stuff on sale will still be around in January and February, but the popular sizes might be gone. You can also find big discounts in the summer, with up to 70% off by the end of June.

Shop on the Express sale page online. There, you find women's tops for 40 to 50% off. All men's shorts and short sleeve shirts are discounted by 50%.

Military discount 

If you're in the military, a teacher, or work in healthcare, you can get 5% off at the store. But you can't use any other coupons or store-wide deals with the discount, and you have to go to the store to get it.

Express student discount

If you're a college student, you can get a discount when you shop online at Express. Just sign up for UNiDAYS and prove that you're a student. You'll get 5% off your purchase, but you can't use other discounts at the same time. Go to the bottom of the homepage and click on "Student Discount" to start.

Sign up offer

Get a 15% off express coupon when you sign up for text alerts. It's straightforward; text ROCKS to 397737.  By signing up for the email newsletter, you get a discount of 25%, plus you will stay up-to-date with the latest deals and collection releases.

Express insider rewards

Join the Express Insider rewards program for perks like express cash, birthday gifts and early access to sales and offers. Check out their program page to learn about the 3 levels and up your savings.

When you sign up for the rewards program, you earn express cash; then you can spend it like money. Express gifts you 2 birthday gifts a year, plus you get early access to sales, offers and invite only events.

As long as you are signed up for the Express Insider rewards program, you will get two Express birthday discounts. Insider Members get a $5 birthday discount twice a year. Influencer members get a $10 gift two times a year.  A-List members get a $40 gift twice a year.
