Redeeming your Kroger coupon

1. Sign into your Kroger account.

2. Go to the Digital Coupons section and clip the coupons you want.

3. When you clip a coupon, you’ll see a drop-down menu listing available products.

4. Put your selections into your cart. The Kroger discount will be applied automatically at checkout.

If your promo code isn’t working, try this:

• Make sure that your coupon comes from the Kroger website or Kroger app.

• Check the Kroger coupon for details—you must buy the right brand, size, and quantity.

• Make sure you are only using one coupon per item, and no more than three of the same coupons.

If there are no promo codes available…

If there are no Kroger coupons for the items you want, there are other places where you can look for discounts. Check newspaper inserts and magazines for printed coupons, as well as online printable coupons. If you have a smartphone, you can also look for grocery cashback apps.

Combining coupons

Kroger allows combining coupons. You can get a great Kroger deal by using coupons for sale items. If you have multiples of a certain coupon, you can use up to three of them if you buy one item for each coupon you use. However, you cannot use more than one coupon per item.

Using online coupons in stores

You can use Kroger online coupons in stores. Before you shop, clip digital Kroger coupons from the store website. Use your Kroger card at checkout and the discounts will be applied automatically. You can also find coupons on the Kroger app and scan the app at checkout. This allows you to look for Kroger discounts as you shop.

Begin your Christmas shopping at Kroger’s Black Friday sale. You’ll find savings of 20% to 50% on toys, housewares, small appliances, and Christmas trees.

Public holiday sales

Most Kroger stores keep shorter hours on public holidays. You may find good deals on food related to the holidays. For example, Memorial Day is a good time to buy meat for the grill. You can use a Kroger coupon for more savings.

Mega Sales

Kroger has sales every week, but you should make a point of checking their once-a-month Mega Sales. This Kroger promotion may be called Mega Sale, Cart Buster, or Buy 5, Save 5. Buy 5 selected items and save $5. Since most Save 5 items are reduced before the $5 discount, your savings can be substantial.

Clearance sales

Kroger discounts many items that are near their sell-by date. Some will be found near the stock room or in end caps. Others are mixed with regular-priced items, so look for discount stickers. You can expect to save 50% on bakery items and 25% on meat and produce.

Kroger offers everyday low prices in their Locked in Low section. Here, you can find low prices on everyday grocery items from Back to School, Meal Staples, Snacks, Frozen, Dairy, Beverages, Cleaning & Household, Personal Care, Pet, and Store Brand sections, or shop all savings if you prefer browsing through everything. Search by location or by postal code for a list of Kroger stores near you to choose from.

Kroger Plus promos and discounts

The Kroger rewards program gives you a free Kroger Plus membership. You can use Kroger digital coupons, cashback, and member-only savings on certain food items. You’ll also earn fuel points good for discounts on gasoline. Members save around $576 per year. Get even more benefits if you qualify for the Kroger Rewards Debit Card or Kroger Elite Rewards MasterCard.

The Kroger app

The Kroger app will save you money and make shopping easier. You can download Kroger coupons, view digital receipts, and check your prescription history. Switch to Store Mode to browse your store from the comfort of your home. The app will also build a list of the items you buy most often.

More unique discounts

Buy 5 or more, save $1 each

Kroger has a special sale event called Buy 5 or More, Save $1 each. The selection of items changes every time this sale event occurs and you can choose from any five of the select items. You may be able to enjoy these savings on snacks, canned foods, cereals, and more. Shop for these items on the store website for pickup or delivery, or look for the bright-colored signs in the store next to the select items. Even if you buy items from this sale event, you can still use a Kroger promo code.

Get free shipping

You can get free delivery from Kroger via Instacart if you take out a Boost membership. Fees are between $59 and $99 per year. In addition to free delivery, you’ll earn extra fuel points and get special member savings. Kroger does not offer paid or free shipping to areas not served by its stores.

Cashback

Find the Kroger Cash Back program by logging into your account, clicking on "Savings & Rewards" and then choosing offers from the Cash Back Offer section. Be sure to use your Kroger Shopper Card when you shop. Cashback will be loaded to your Shopper Card and can be transferred to PayPal.

How to get a military discount

Some Kroger stores offer a military discount on selected days. The discount is usually 10%. To get the Kroger military discount, you'll need to:

1. Shop at a Kroger store on the day it offers a military discount.

2. Show a valid military ID at checkout.

3. Upon verification of your military ID, the cashier will take 10% off your order.

That’s it—no need to sign up for a special program.

You can go to the company website and complete the Kroger sign-up offer to get a Kroger newsletter online. You can also get digital Kroger coupons to use on your purchases.

Making returns

The Kroger return policy allows you to return most items to Kroger within 30 days of purchase. If you return more than $10 worth of merchandise without a receipt, you’ll get a Kroger gift card. If you have a receipt, you’ll get cash or credit on the card you used to make your purchase.
