Cheapest flights bookings

Number one on your to-do list to begin planning any vacation is, of course, finding a flight. This can be an incredibly stressful process, as flights are often costly. Finding cheap flights with a reasonable travel time is important for both your bank account and your peace of mind. However, there are many travel platforms and websites to assist you through this process. Find flights at amazing prices through:

  • Hotwire: Hotwire always offers deals on airfare to help you save. Right now, Hotwire is offering up to 40% off on flight bookings

  • Priceline: As the pioneer of online travel booking platforms, that coined the "name your own price" concept, you'll find exactly what you're looking to pay for your next trip on Priceline!

Ways to save on international travel

Student travel deals

Students, we know that you missed out on not one, but two spring breaks in a row. By now, you're probably dying to go on a fun vacation with your friends. Jetsetting on a student budget can be challenging, but as one of the biggest countries in the world, the U.S. has a lot to offer! Traveling within the U.S. is a less expensive way to gain new experiences and scratch the travel itch! From mountains to forests to beaches, be sure to check out some domestic travel destinations when booking your next trip. Regardless of what type of landscape you're looking for, you can find it somewhere domestically. Here are some great platforms that will help you save while you explore:

  • Hotels.com: Hotels.com helps customers book flights, hotels, activities, and even rental cars while they explore new cities. They even offer vacation packages to simplify the booking process. Students get 10% off Hotels.com bookings, so take advantage of this discount in addition to their already low prices!

  • Hotwire: With low prices and extra discounts all year round, students should check out Hotwire when booking flights, and hotels. While they don't offer a specific student discount, their low prices are perfect for student budgets! Right now, you can get up to 60% off on Hotwire hotel bookings

Post-COVID travel safety tips

After the long year of lockdowns, social distancing, and mask-wearing, we all know that COVID is no joke. While the world is opening up and tourism is becoming available again, it's important to remember that the pandemic is still not over. When we travel we still have to abide by each city's or country's COVID guidelines to keep ourselves and those around us safe. Here are some travel safety tips!

  1. Always carry a mask. Many cities in the U.S. are beginning to get rid of their mask requirements, however, certain establishments still ask visitors to keep masks on at all times. While traveling, you don't want to be caught without a mask on your way to a scheduled activity, so be sure to keep one in your backpack or pocket wherever you go.

  2. Carry proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test when traveling. You never know if you will be stopped by TSA or customs at the airport, so be prepared just in case! Be sure to get tested within 24 hours of your flight.

  3. Check your destination's current COVID restrictions before booking and before departing. Being aware of mask requirements, restrictions, and other COVID-related information will help you best prepare for your vacation. Do your research so you're not surprised if the restaurant you want to go to has a capacity limit or if you have to wear a mask indoors.
