Redeeming your Cleo promo code

1. Download the app from the site, App Store or Google Play

2. On your phone, choose the Cleo promo code, click to copy the coupon, and head to the app.

3. Go to the app and choose the Cleo Builder Subscription. 

4. Paste the code into the promo code box when checking out to apply the discount. 

If your promo code isn’t working, try this:

• Make sure you have entered your Cleo code correctly - they can be case-sensitive. 

• Check the expiration date. If the date of the deal has expired, it will not work. 

• Look at the terms and conditions. There might be specific requirements that apply for you to redeem the discount. 

• Make sure you are applying this discount to the correct feature. The discount might only apply to a specific service. 

If there are no promo codes available...

Try out a recently expired Cleo promo code. Sometimes you get lucky and the code will still work a couple of days after the expiration date. Cleo does not follow your typical special sales. In fact, it actually supports the idea of boycotting Black Friday sales. Cleo currently only has one type of permanent sale on their site. The student discount page is available currently and can be found in the dropdown menu on the homepage and clicking on  “Student Offer.” There are no other permanent sales pages, although you can download and use the simpler version of the app for free.

Student discounts

You can secure a Cleo student discount for the Cleo Builder subscription. It gives you a 33% discount, meaning you will end up paying only $9.99 as opposed to $14.99 per month. If you want to redeem this offer, then you will need to be verified as a student or recent graduate on the website Student Beans. 

Making returns

While you won’t be making any returns with Cleo, because it’s a subscription service, you can cancel it. If you’re looking to cancel Cleo Plus, simply say “Cancel” when the app is open. You’ll be asked a couple of questions that you need to answer and then an “Unsubscribe” button will appear on your screen. Your cancellation will be confirmed by email. Remember, if you have an active advance, you’ll still have to repay it on your chosen date.

Payment options

If you subscribe to any of the app’s paid tiers, Cleo payments are debited directly with the card you signed up with from your bank, but check with Plaid, an API provider, to see if it supports your bank. Also, not all banks are compatible with the Cleo Cash Advance feature.
